POSITION: An’yst, HR Ops
Job Summary
The role holder is in charge of carrying out assigned operational operations and providing services to the HR Specialist Delivery Unit within the HR function. This is accomplished by maintaining effective and strong relationships with the country’s HR team and GPS, as well as meeting agreed-upon service level KPIs with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy: Drive the delivery of the HR agenda to simplify the records retention and retrieval procedure while also providing value to employees by ensuring adequate records management practices under corporate policies and standards.
- Business: Ensure that all staff records are uploaded accurately and on time online and that they are archived with proper reference data.
- Processes: The job holder must reconcile HR personal files both internally and with the archive vendor following the KPIs set within the scope of the HR data archival project.
- People & Talent: Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and Senior Management to help them deliver their work.
- Risk Management: Ensure confidentiality and proper handling and preservation of employee records under internal policies and regulations.
Governance:
- Be aware of and comprehend the regulatory framework under which the Group operates, as well as the regulatory standards and expectations applicable to the function.
- Ensure effective records management under the Group’s data leakage guidelines and data retention requirements, as well as the regulations governing records management and preservation.
Regulatory and Business Conduct
- Exhibit excellent behaviour and abide by the Group’s values and code of conduct.
- Accept personal responsibility for implementing the highest ethical standards, including regulatory and corporate conduct, throughout Standard Chartered Bank. This involves studying and ensuring that all applicable laws, rules, guidelines, and the Group Code of

- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, behaviour, and compliance issues.

- GPS Teams, Chennai
- Members of Global Business Management Group include Global HR Business Partners for specific products, segments, and functions, as well as Country HR Business Partners.
- HR Product Owners and Specialists
Other responsibilities.
- Embed the good and group’s brand and values in the SCB Ghana HR team. Perform other obligations allocated by Group, Country, Business, or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats).
- Upload staff records online and archive all staff reports.

Qualifications
- Education: Undergraduate degree from an accredited university
- Training: Proficient in Microsoft Excel Languages: English About Standard Chartered
