POSITION: System Engineer
We are searching for a Systems Engineer to collaborate closely with a sales representative within a certain territory. The Systems Engineer’s primary responsibility will be to assist the sales organization with all technical aspects of pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales.
With us, you will.
- Lead all technical parts of the sales cycle with customers, from initial RFIs to RFPs and RFQs as needed. This involves project management and active participation in proof-of-concept (POC) projects in collaboration with relevant teams both internally and within the customer and/or commercial partner.
- Have the ability to listen to and comprehend the customer’s technical requirements, reading between the lines to create a solution that outperforms the competitor’s offering.
- Be the principal technical point of contact for the customer(s) and partners, working closely with your sales partner.
- Continuously seek to enhance knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions, while also keeping a thorough grasp of the competitive landscape and Fortinet’s ability to provide long-term security against ever-changing threats.
- Have a good ability to present Fortinet solutions to customers, whether remotely or in person. This necessitates good communication skills and the ability to convincingly convey using whiteboarding, technical white papers, technical blueprints, or customer discussions.
- When working on many deals at the same time, make sure to manage your time wisely to maintain a great customer experience.
- Maintain correct activity, contact, and account technical information for all clients and prospects in our CRM (Salesforce).
Apply if you
- Have extensive experience in cybersecurity, networking, SOC, and DevOps.
- Strong commercial acumen is essential.
- Currently or recently worked as a pre-sales engineer, overseeing the technical parts of deals from start to finish, including technical close.
- Understand and demonstrate your ability to develop and sustain customer connections, as well as your technical communication skills with a variety of external and internal stakeholders.
