POSITION: Procurement and Logistics Assistant

Job Description
The position is administrative and reports to the procurement manager. It is located on-site at HPW Fresh and Dry Ltd in Adeiso, E/R.
Job Purpose
- Help the procurement team buy, organize, and coordinate activities related to procuring materials, products, and services from local and international suppliers.
- Coordinate incoming logistics at the national and international levels, as well as coordinate cross-border activities.
Job Duties
- Purchase or contract suppliers for equipment and inputs in compliance with the procurement handbook and procedures.
- Analyze market and delivery systems to determine the current and future material availability.
- Locate and analyze vendors of materials, equipment, or suppliers to establish product availability and terms of sales domestically and globally.
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for suppliers and equipment, including logistics.
- Review purchase order claims and contracts for compliance with business policy.
- Maintain records of ordered and received products. Review and approve specifications for bids.
- Prepare reports on market conditions and goods costs.
- To use SAP, follow these steps: 1. Create new BPs and articles. 2. Fill out crucial supplier data and forms in the purchasing module.
- Organize land, sea, and air transportation to the factory.
- Consolidate invoices and packing lists for land, sea, and air transportation and clearing.
- Coordinate the inter-company material exchange with CIV.
- Controls incoming stuff.
- Scope: Procurement Department
- Internal Relationship: Relationship between all departments.
- External Relation: Relationship with external providers.
Required Skill or Experience
- Education, Competency, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Requirements include a degree or diploma in Purchasing and Supply, Logistics,
- International Trade, Accounting, or Administration, as well as 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Requirements include proficiency in.xls and.ppt files, as well as experience with multimodal shipping.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Fluency in French is desirable.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective time management abilities and the capacity to multitask.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and strong planning and organizational skills.
