The Ghana Education Service is looking for motivated and devoted university graduates with a Bachelor of Education Certificate to join its thriving educational community.

JOB PURPOSE

  • To facilitate learning with 21st-century technology.
  • Continuously increase the learner’s ability to conduct research utilizing new technology.
  • Teach highly motivated students, adapt to students with varying learning skills, and assist them in achieving exceptional academic outcomes.
  • Attend appropriate and ongoing professional development sessions.
  • Use a variety of assessment methods and tasks to accurately assess levels of learner competency.
  • Any other responsibilities allocated to you by your Head of Institution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education.
  • License from the National Teaching Council.
  • National Service Certificate.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Prepared to work wherever your services are needed.

About Ghana Education Service (GES)

The Ghana Education Service (GES) was established in 1974 as part of the Public Service of Ghana. It was initially created by NRCD 247 and has since been amended by NRCD 252, 357, and SMCD 63. The earlier legislations have been amended by Acts of Parliament, including Act 506 (1994) and Act 778 (2008), under the fourth Republican Constitution of Ghana. The GES Council is responsible for governing the GES and consists of fifteen members.
