Nuffield Clinic is looking for a certified and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our wonderful team immediately. The ideal candidate should have:

Key Tasks

• Help to lead research and/or quality improvement projects.
• Assist with staff appraisals and development plans.
• Assist in the development and implementation of educational and training materials for clients and caregivers.
• Communicate evaluation results, therapeutic plans, goals, and outcome measurements to clients and other stakeholders.
• Communicate intervention plans, outcome metrics, progress, and discharge criteria to clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct physical, psychosocial, discipline-specific, and impairment-based assessments to determine the appropriate therapy measures.
• Perform service and clinical audits.
• Provide training.
• Create educational activities that address the learning needs of both staff and students.
• Document the outcomes of the case history, evaluation, therapy plans, interventions, goals, and outcome measurements.
• Empower clients and caregivers with strategies for improving health, mobility, and function.
• The history and physical examination data will be evaluated using clinical reasoning to establish appropriate patient-centered intervention plans.
• At regular intervals, assess therapy progress and outcomes using appropriate therapeutic outcome indicators.
• Facilitate community integration by working with community partners as needed.
• Create client-centered and SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely) goals in conjunction with clients and relevant stakeholders.
• Create discharge and continuity of care plans based on the client’s performance in cooperation with key stakeholders.
• Develop preventive strategies for clinical adverse events.
• Identify potential safety concerns and issues.
• Implement evidence-based practices in clinical specialties.
• Manage customer feedback.
• Handle minor staff disagreements and disciplinary issues involving junior employees.
• Mentor therapists and support personnel on their professional growth.
• Modify therapy plans based on client performance, motivation, safety, and outcome metrics. Monitor team performance indicators.
• Oversee the inventory and equipment maintenance required for treatment services.
• Oversee the upkeep of client records.
• Engage in constant professional development activities.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of professional experience* in physiotherapy.
• Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy* (Master’s degree preferred).
• Registered with the Ghana Physiotherapist Association*.
• Proven experience managing orthopedic, rheumatology, trauma, and stroke patients.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and dedication to patient-centered care.

Location: Nuffield Clinic in Osu, Accra, Ghana
