POSITION: Senior Manager, Finance Business Partnering
Job Summary
Lead the team and role scope in budget preparation and forecasting for cost centers, as well as the application of financial concepts and principles. Collaborate with the Finance Centres of Excellence (CoE) and the Shared Services Centre (SSC) to ensure seamless integration and optimization of financial reporting and budgeting procedures and programs.

Key Tasks
- Oversee the development of budgets, projections, and long-term plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Assess environmental variables and market conditions to inform long-term planning for meeting current and future business needs.
- Review and confirm operational budgets and expense projections based on cost center information when formulating company-wide budget plans.
- Create company-wide budget guidelines.
- Analyze and generate company-wide budget estimates, obtaining the necessary approvals per DOA.
- Collaborate with functional leaders and their teams on budgeting, forecasting, and spending. Provide the required insights to aid decision-making.
- Ensure that the department’s assessment cycle phases are completed on time and in accordance with the Groupwide Enterprise Performance Calendar.
- Manage the monthly reporting of outcomes to selected stakeholders, giving appropriate insights and explanations as needed.
- Present financial performance reports to the Executive Committee and Senior Management.
- Evaluate results in accordance with corporate plans, including corresponding insights.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on financial planning, budgeting, and control processes.
- Proactive first-line controls for department-specific hazards. This includes regulatory hazards.
- Communicate and ensure compliance with all standards, statutory policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to the role scope.
The duties stated are not exhaustive and may change from time to time as the business’s demands evolve. The postholder will be expected to perform such duties as assigned by his or her manager and Head of Department.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Requirements include a degree in finance or a related discipline, with a postgraduate degree preferred.
- Must be a chartered accountant (CPA, CA, CFA, or CMA).
Experience:
- Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience.
- Have at least 5 years of managerial/leadership experience.
Knowledge:
- Expertise in financial accounting, financial management, planning, budgeting, business analytics, performance measurement, process improvement, business consulting, business analysis, financial acumen, stakeholder management, research orientation, and strategic thinking.
