POSITION: Chief Finance Officer (CFO) 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensuring that financial planning and strategy align with business planning and the Group’s overall strategy, which includes multi-year budgets, trend analysis, and scenario modeling.
• Leading, directing, and managing the finance and accounting team
• Offering strategic recommendations to the Group CEO and executive management team
• Supervising the financial forecasting and budgeting processes and overseeing the preparation of all financial reports
• Guiding long-term business and financial planning
• Offering commercial insight and leadership across the business to surpass business plan targets
• Ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is implemented and operational for the group
• Establishing and cultivating relationships with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
• Assessing all formal finance, HR, and IT-related procedures

Qualification and Experience Required

• The role of the CFO is highly senior, requiring a significant level of experience from applicants. Professional certification in accounting (CPA / ACCA, CIMA) or an equivalent qualification is required. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in the following: Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• An MBA is also highly sought after. Experience of at least 10 years in the finance industry and a track record of successful leadership and management are crucial. It is important to provide specific examples of when they have excelled in the workplace.
• The ideal candidates should have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively with senior management. They should be able to engage with staff at all levels of the organization and demonstrate sound judgment.
