The University of Media Arts and Communication (UniMAC) seeks applications from suitable individuals to fill the following positions: Institute Finance Officer
JOB SUMMARY
The institute Finance Officer is responsible to the Rector for the financial administration of the constituent institute, subject to periodic orders from the Registrar and Director of Finance.
Qualification & Experience
- He/she must hold both professional qualifications and an appropriate postgraduate degree.
- Ideally, be a member of any appropriate professional accounting and/or finance association, preferably
- The Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA),
- The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA),
- The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
- He/She must have served in a university or equivalent institution as Deputy Director of Finance, or a minimum of 10 years post-professional qualification experience in a university or highly respectable and recognized practicing accounting company, industry, commerce, and/or public service.
- Must have served as a Senior Accountant for five years.
CONTRACT period: The full-time appointment must be three years in the first instance and may be subject to renewal for another period of two years or a portion thereof but not beyond the compulsory retirement age of sixty.
REMUNERATION: Conditions of service are as applicable to Government of Ghana funded universities.
