POSITION: Recovery Officer

Job Description.

Location: Koforidua, Cape Coast.

Purpose

Provide support to the Institution’s Credit Operations by ensuring that all debts that have been written off are fully collected. Also, assist in maintaining a high-quality portfolio across the institution by following up with delinquent clients to ensure prompt payment.

Key Responsibilities

• All loan amounts that have been written off will be recovered.
• Ensure that delinquent clients are immediately followed up with to make repayments.
• Assist in ensuring that the Institution’s PAR remains within acceptable bounds.
• Maintain accurate records on written-off loan portfolios and recoveries.
• Deliver necessary reports to management and the field on time for effective decision-making.
• Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor or designee. Required skills and experience.

Qualification

• Candidates must have completed National Service and hold a DBS or HND in a relevant field.
• Must have 1–2 years of experience in a similar capacity and be a practicing Christian.

• Must have a strong team spirit.
• Must be active, imaginative, and self-motivated.
• Must be willing and able to work successfully under pressure while remaining goal-oriented.
• Must have good public relations abilities and relate well to people from all backgrounds.
