Role Overview
As a Head of Client Services at AFG, you will be reporting to the COO of the Firm and oversee driving the Group’s growth strategy by driving proposal development and client service delivery, to position AFG as the ideal partner for our corporate clients in solving business problems. You are obsessed with building AFG’s reputation through outstanding response rate to clients and quality output.

Your experience
- You hold a BSc Degree from a leading African or foreign tertiary institution
- You have 5 to 7 years of working experience, with focus on African private sector and gained experience in business development, writing, and reviewing proposals
- You have experience in managing a team and upward management
- You possess strong written communication skills with attention to details
- You have strong entrepreneurial skills and “can do” attitude
- You have the ability to work in fast-paced environment, supported by team members

Your responsibilities
Project scope management and proposal delivery
- Collaborate with client and Project Principals to conceptualisation scope of projects
- Oversee the execution of proposal on time and spec
- Perform quality and sense-checks on out-going proposals
- Train and manage Client Services Analysts and Associates in proposal development
Process and resource building
- Develop scope and proposal library
- Develop and foster the implementation of a comprehensive knowledge management strategy through Golden Bridge
- Creation of knowledge documents based on executed missions to augment AFG’s knowledge database
- Identify and assist in the execution of strategies for closing knowledge gaps within existing processes and propose streamlined approaches to advance knowledge
