To plan and execute Quality and Food Safety and Shea Supply Chain related activities in Togo/Benin and Nigeria
Key Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Routine physicochemical analyses of the shea related process products according to the standards and quality control procedures either via FT-NIR or traditional method.
- Preparation of samples for analyses.
- Conduct follow-up and monitoring audits and inspections accompanied with reports
- Ensure that all analyses carried out are done with the right safety aids, tools and reagents used/required and are adequate.
- Provide quality team with stock quantities and stocks that need reordering.
- Inspect all supplies that comes in and either accept or reject.
- Ensure that workspace is clean, during and at the end of each workday.
- Ensure unauthorized personnel do not enter the workspace at any point in time.
- Ensure accurate daily record keeping in all data sheets/books, Unilab, FTNIR, documentation of all results and reports pertaining to the work.
- Report Weekly or Timely on quality data and crusher status.

Other Responsibilities
- Be familiar with the use of the safety equipment in the workspace.
- Be a focal point for information on issues which might affect quality of nuts and butter in the crusher process
- Basic maintenance of equipment.
- Calibration of Equipment.
- Provide support to the supply chain team when required.
Departmental Relations
- Maintain contact with all sections and departments within the company.
- Maintain close contact with crusher partners within the scope
External relations
- Regulatory and Certification bodies and external laboratories.
- Equipment Servicing Agents.
Responsibility For Company Assets
- Responsible for maintenance of all BLC related equipment.
- Responsible for the efficient, effective and conservative use of utilities provided in the workspace.
- Ensure Data Security and Protection

Technical Competencies
- A good knowledge of laboratory operations.
- A good knowledge of Stock Takes.
- Report Writing Skills.
- Computer literate.
Personality Competencies
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good speaking and writing knowledge of English and French or any other local language
