Fiaseman Rural Bank PLC, a rural bank in the Western Region, is seeking the services of an external auditor.
Search Objectives:
- The successful firm will audit the bank’s financial accounts and provide an annual report in compliance with statutory requirements for 6 years.
- The firm must qualify under section 138 of the Company Act 2019 (Act 992).
- The firm must be a licensed audit firm in Ghana, as per the Institute of Chartered Accountants Act 2020 (Act 1058).
- During the recruitment process, the firm must maintain good standing with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana.
- The firm must have been doing audits for at least 20 years. The firm must have audited a rural bank for over 18 years, have a sufficient number of qualified staff, and have a team lead with at least 15 years of experience and a high level of integrity.
Submission of Proposal
The firm should include the following in its proposal:
- Curriculum vitae (CVs) of important persons who will participate in the exercise with particular roles.
- Evidence of similar assignments completed within the last 15 years, including references.
- Technical proposal: detailed methodology, work timelines, and proven methods of quality assurance.
Location: Western Region.
