A prominent organization is looking to hire Tipper Truck Drivers.
Responsibilities
- Transporting crushed rock, sand, and gravel to and from certain areas.
- Verifying the materials being transported and ensuring they do not exceed weight limits
- Ensure that the items are properly put onto the dump truck.
- Every 5,000 kilometers, the dump truck gets lubricated.
- Before and after each trip, inspect the dump truck for oil, gas, and water levels, as well as check the lights and tires. Any accidents, injuries, or mechanical failures should be reported to management as soon as possible.
- Performing regular maintenance to keep the truck in good functioning order.
- Keep proper driver logs.
- Adhering to all safety norms and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of driving experience
- Valid DVLA Class C, D, E, or F license
- Medical Examiner’s Certificate required.
- Clean driving record.
- Proven experience driving a regular dump truck.
- Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and traffic safety rules.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Effective communication abilities.
Location: Accra.
