POSITION: Accountant Officer
Job Description
West African Hardware & Décor Ltd, Adenta is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Accountant Officer to start immediately. Preferably, a guy aged 27 to 35 years.
Responsibilities:
- Keeping and examining financial records.
- Ensure compliance with accounting and tax rules.
- Budgets are prepared on a regular basis.
- Monitoring and reporting on expenses and profits.
- Assessing internal management systems, procedures, and hazards in order to make recommendations.
- Managing business accounts and preparing financial reports.
Required Skill or Experience
- Degree in accounting or a similar subject.
- Two years of experience in the accounting department.
- Previous employment experience as an accounting officer.
- Accounting principles are understood and used competently.
- Proficient in management systems.
- Administrative skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Perform bank reconciliation, stock taking, and branch audits in and out of Accra.
- Assist the accountant in preparing financial statements.
