2023–24 Awards for Postgraduate Study at Auckland Law School (New Zealand)

For the New Zealand academic year 2023–2024, applications for the Auckland Law School Postgraduate Awards are now open to interested candidates. Students who wish to enroll in Masters-level studies at the University of Auckland may apply for the funding.

Description of the scholarship:

In order to recognize and encourage academic success among students seeking a Master’s degree at Auckland Law School, the Auckland Law School Postgraduate Awards were established. The Master of Laws, Master of Legal Studies, and Master of Taxation Studies study programs are all eligible for these degrees.

The deadlines for these scholarship applications are January 30 and June 30 of every academic year. Each scholarship is worth $10,000 NZD and is meant to help with educational expenses. Each award has a one-year duration and there are a maximum of five prizes available.

These awards were created by the Auckland Law School to reward and encourage exceptional students who are studying a Master’s degree in law, legal studies, or taxation studies there.

Benefits of the scholarship

The Auckland Law School Postgraduate Awards are designed to help awardees with a sizable percentage of their fees. Five qualifying candidates will each receive one of these $10,000 grants, regardless of whether they are domestic or overseas students.

Eligibility Requirements

Following the advice of a selection committee, the awards will be given out under the supervision of the dean of law or their approved representative. Academic excellence is the main factor considered in the selection procedure for these awards.

• Copies of your official university transcripts, which include all of your completed course grades. Before rewards are confirmed, successful applicants must submit hard copies of their transcripts.
• A recent resume that includes the contact information for two academic references.
