2023-2024 Google Lime Scholarship
Hello everyone, kindly be informed that applications are open for the 2023 Google Lime Scholarship. Students are hereby entreated to read through this publication and submit their applications.
Google Lime Scholarship Description
Their specialty is knowledge access. They don’t want anything to get in the way of promising academics pursuing higher education. Google is pleased to have supported Lime Connect’s efforts since 2008, for this reason.
By offering scholarships and networking getaways to computer science students with disabilities, Google is dedicated to assisting future innovators in making the most of their potential.

Scholarship Benefits
The 2023 Google Lime Scholarship winners will all get awards for the 2023–2024 academic year. Additionally, scholars will be given the opportunity to apply for internships with Google for the summer of 2024 and be invited to a Google Lime Scholars event in the fall of 2023.
Scholarships worth $10,000 for students in the US and $5,000 for those in Canada (depending on tuition fees) will be given out based on the strength of candidates’ academic records and a shown love for computer science.
Eligibility Prerequisites
2023 Fellowship Candidates must meet the requirements listed below:
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate at a university in the United States or Canada (applicants must be freshmen/first-year students or international students studying in the United States or Canada); and additionally
- Continuing current studies in the academic year 2023-2024 at a university in the United States or Canada.
- Pursuing a degree in a technical subject that is closely related to computer science or computer engineerings, such as software engineering or electrical engineering with a significant computer science course load.
- Continuing to achieve well in school
- A student with a disability, whether visible or invisible (defined as someone who has, or believes they have, a long-term, or recurring, issue that affects one or more major activities that others may consider to be a daily function); this definition also takes into account other people’s perceptions of the existence of a disability. Candidates with all impairments are invited to apply because, as we are aware, 90% of disabilities on campus are invisible.
- Show leadership, dedication to, and love for, computer science and technology.
- Regrettably, previous Google Lime Scholars cannot be taken into account.
- Current high school students are not eligible for this scholarship.

TAKE NOTE:
Please be aware that winners of scholarships must be registered as full-time students for the academic year 2023–2024. Following the selection of the winners, enrollment will be confirmed, and all scholarship payments will be issued immediately to the winner’s student account for tuition and other educational-related costs.
Any scholar who ceases to satisfy the eligibility conditions will have their award withheld, and any scholar who fails to continue to fulfill the eligibility standards will have their award revoked. On a case-by-case basis, as assessed by Google, recipients may defer their award for up to one (1) year from the time of the initially anticipated payment.

How To Apply?
You can apply once the application is available by logging into or joining The Lime Network. There is a link to their online application system where you may provide the following information:
- Information about your name, address, and qualifications
- A current CV and unofficial academic records
- Three essays provide you the chance to demonstrate your enthusiasm for computer science.
- One letter of recommendation from a professor, advisor, or supervisor (references’ names and email addresses must be supplied before the application deadline; the letters themselves are due one week later).
