Year 1 Teacher Needed at North Hills International School
North Hills International School, a first-rate international school in Accra (North Legon), has won the Most Preferred Private School in Ghana for the year 2018 at the recently held Heroes of Distinctions Awards on Friday, February 22, 2019.
North Hills International School seeks suitable applicants to fill for the following positions:
Job Titles: Year 1 Teacher
Responsibilities:
- Firstly, Create lesson plans for each class based on your experience and the students’ specific needs
- Secondly, Introduce interactive activities into the classroom and encourage students to vocalise their concerns and questions
- Thirdly, Communicate with other team members as well as with parents about students’ progress and behaviour
- Moreover, Join the rotation of teachers who assist with start-of-day and end-of-day student care procedures
- Additionally, Organise students into small groups for social education
- Then, Encourage creativity in students by organising art and craft projects on a daily basis
- Afterwards, Create a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere in the classroom
- Last but not least, Oversee lunch and interval twice per week
- Finally, Listen carefully to parents’ requests and concerns and address them as quickly as possible
Qualification:
- An outstanding practitioner with at least four years of relevant full-time teaching experience.
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree is desired in the different disciplines.
- Have excellent subject knowledge and experience.
- Successful international experience in teaching is an added advantage.
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent leadership and organization skills and ability to motivate.
