Job Description

The English Language Teacher, who must hold a B.ED  degree in English from a University, preferably from UCC or UEW, will teach learners in the Upper Primary and JHS. The AsanteTwi Teacher will teach the Twi Language in the Upper Primary and JHS.

Responsibilities

• Firstly, Teach basic English skills including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Secondly, Compose lesson plans in order to successfully incorporate the full duration of each lesson.
• Thirdly, Execute lessons efficiently using different styles of teaching depending on the content.
• Moreover, Engage students to ensure a lively classroom atmosphere.
• Finally, Instruct students about the structure and content of the English language.

Required Skills or Experience

The successful candidate should have the following:

1. Firstly, hold a B.ED degree in English for the English Language, and a B.ED degree in Twi for the Asante Twi
2. Secondly, be computer literate and be willing to go the extra mile in his/her role.
3. Lastly, Teacher’s license, skills and talents relevant to child-centred training will be an added advantage
