Study In UK: University College London Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme 2024
For the 2024–2025 academic year, University College London Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme applications are now being accepted, and international students are encouraged to apply.
About University College London Scholarships
In order to assist students from developing Commonwealth nations, the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission and UK institutions collaborated to create the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme.
The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme (CSSS) was created to help highly qualified students from developing Commonwealth nations who would not otherwise be able to afford to study in the UK due to financial constraints. Through the program, they can gain access to postgraduate education at a UK university, which will enable them to support the advancement of their home nations.
Only taught Master’s programs are eligible for awards, and the disciplines covered must be relevant to the nation’s progress in terms of technology, society, and economy.

Why study at University College London?
Among the top universities in the world is UCL. Disruptive thought and superior academic performance have been the norm since 1826.
Students at UCL participate actively in research, which prepares them for the future and fosters a lifelong interest. Instead of teaching them what to think, we teach them how to think.
We are one of the top departments in the nation for studying antiquity. We have a strong desire to disseminate our research and knowledge via lectures, publications, and teaching.
Numerous study alternatives are available, including customizable degree plans with a large selection of courses (many Classics departments do not offer papyrology, linguistics, or ancient Middle Eastern languages).
Top-notch faculty members who are acknowledged worldwide authorities in their domains and frequently impart courses based on their research endeavors, providing students with access to innovative ideas. The education of students about the ancient world is a passion shared by our entire crew. Discover our staff’s selections.
Unrivalled London resources:
The UCL Library, the British Library, the British Museum, the Institute of Classical Studies (home to one of the top classical libraries globally), the Senate House Library, and the Warburg Institute are all easily accessible on foot from where we are.
Small learning groups and individual feedback:
All modules have small class sizes and the option for one-on-one meetings to discuss specific questions or complete tasks.
Greek Play:
the chance to perform in and see a Greek play in the Bloomsbury Theatre each year, as opposed to merely reading about it in class.
Active student body:
Academic and social activities sponsored by a helpful Classics Society; frequent opportunities to study Ancient Greek and Latin through the Living Latin Society; financial assistance for travel through the Stephen Instone Travel Award
