REGISTER HERE: United Nations, YEA career fair for recruitment in Ghana

The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) in partnership with the United Nations Office of Human Resources (OHR) and the Permanent Mission of Ghana to the United Nations will organise a 2-day outreach programme/Career Fair from November 20 to November 21, 2019 in Accra.

The aim of the outreach activities by the Secretariat is to create awareness in member states about career opportunities and internships at the UN.

The outreach programme involves workshops, presentations and seminars for potential applicants. The areas of training include capacity building and networking with civil society organisations and academia with the view of acquiring knowledge on UN recruitments processes and enhancing prospects for passing UN interviews.

The event will provide the avenue to deliver information sessions to a variety of groups on the requirements for civilian professionals in the following areas:

Management and Administration (incl. finance, human resources, investment management, audit, evaluation)

Economic, Social and Development (incl. environment, public administration, statistics)

Political, Peace and Humanitarian (incl. human rights, electoral affairs, rule of law)

Information and Telecommunication Technology (incl. media technology)

Public Information and Conference Management (incl. interpretation/translation, information management, protocol)

Internal Security and Safety

Logistics, Transportation, and Supply Chain (incl. engineering, property management, human settlements)

Science (incl. medical, natural and life science)
