An exciting job offer exists in Voltic (GH) Limited for a GMP Technologist. Voltic (GH) Limited, has been known for the manufacturing of the leading premium water brand in Ghana for over two decades.
Currently, Voltic (GH) Limited has expanded its portfolio to cover Value-Added Dairies. This role reports to the SHEQ Manager in the Manufacturing Function. The job incumbent is to ensure GMP standards are met on the total site and ensure product hygiene standards are maintained.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Carry out microbiological tests.
- Identify swabbing areas
- Draft/develop a sampling plan
- Prepare lab equipment for micro testing
- Do microsampling
- Do micro plating
- Read, record & report micro results
- Do trend analyses on micro results
- Assist operational staff with a resolution of micro issues
Perform GMP audits
- Conduct weekly audits & inspection
- Report & record issues & corrective action from surveys
- Manage pest control program
Monitored plant CIP routines
- Do CIP verification titrations
- Ensure CIP schedule is followed to the letter
- Communicate non-conformances to relevant parties

Skills, Experience & Education
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement: Bachelors Degree in Food Technology or Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology
- Added advantage: Honours degree – Food Technology and/or Microbiology
Experience
- Minimum 2 years in food processing plant as Microbiologist
