Vacancies exist in various positions within the Ghana Institute of Languages, a constituent institute of the University of Media, Arts and Communication (UMAC), with specialization in teaching both Foreign and Local Languages.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons who wish to be appointed as: Principal Internal Auditor / Deputy Internal Auditor
DUTIES
- Lead the execution of the Operational / Compliance and Projects Audits based on the Approved Annual Plan
- Supervise the audit follow up process to confirm implementation of findings
- Facilitate Implementation of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework
- Support external auditors in the performance of their statutory audits
- Provide inputs for Budget preparation and ensure cost monitoring of assigned budget lines
- Managing the performance of the assigned officers of the team
- Must be a Chartered Accountant with 10 years post-qualification experience
- Must possess a Master’s Degree in Finance, Auditing or Accounting
- Have 6 years relevant post qualification work experience as Senior Internal Auditor
- Membership of a relevant recognized professional body is required
- Be computer literate and conversant with relevant accounting or auditing software
- Not above 50 years
