AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana) Limited, Obuasi Gold Mine is currently near completion of the redevelopment phase to become a modern, efficient and long-term profitable operation. The underground mining operation has been fully mechanized and designed to produce up to an average maximum of 5,000 t/day of ore mined.
We are seeking experienced and self-motivated person to join our dedicated team as :
- Ensure all orders are expedited pro-actively prior to due delivery dates
- Liaise with end-users and project team to monitor and expedite priority orders based on the criticality
- Liaise with Scheduler to maintain and update the schedule with due delivery dates and highlight changes in delivery dates.
- Ensure deliveries are made in accordance with contractual requirements and Key Performance Indicator
- Hold meetings with poor performing suppliers and establish mitigating actions to ensure limiting of risk to the project schedule and resolve non-conformances
- Carry out expediting within the principles and support of the ethical practices of the Company

2 . Personal Assistant to the Head
- Take minutes during meetings (including, but not limited to Executive Committee Meetings), type up as an accurate and true reflection of meeting proceedings, and distribute afterward.
- Assist with the drafting of written documentation such as briefs, letters, reports, proposals, etc.
- Draft letters for general correspondence, as requested by the Head.
- Compile and prepare confidential documents based on input provided by the Head of the Ghana Business Unit.
- Assist in collating information for monthly and quarterly reports, acting on specific instructions
- Assist with the preparation of presentation layouts and designs, putting relevant information together from various sources

3 . CIC Supervisor – Underground
- Work according to total quality management principles & ensure zero-defect objectives & safety
- Adhere to the site’s Environmental Management Plan
- Gather information for the CIC Superintendent – Underground for reporting performance
- Conduct periodic audits of all Underground CIC refurbishment, later maintenance
- Conduct reviews of the refurbishment, later maintenance, of the CIC equipment to identify actions for continuous improvement
