Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson has been nominated in the African Social Star category at this year’s edition of “E” People’s Choice Award.
Apparently, the award-winning movie personality could not hold back her excitement as she took to social media to announce her nomination. The “E” People’s choice award a very prestigious international award that features many Hollywood stars therefore it is a great win for the actress and the nation as a whole. Breaking the news to the public on her official Instagram page, Lydia said, “Mama, I made it on E! According to her, she has been keeping her nomination away from the public for weeks but she could no longer keep it therefore she let the cat out of the bag. She appeared so delighted to have made it to such a platform. She is actually the first Ghanaian to be nominated for the “E” People’s Award. Lydia Forson furthered that she has graduated from watching the “E” People’s Choice news to being the news. She was nominated alongside African personalities like Zozi Tunzi, Wian, Thuso Mbedu, Sho Madjozi, Karl Kugelmann, Elsa Maljimbo and Dimme Umeh. “Just when I think I’m done, my ancestors smile done on me and say, not yet”, she wrote.
Well, we are hopeful that she bags home that award and make Ghana proud.
