Veteran Ghanaian highlife musician, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah has stated that believes in President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo and that he can do something for Ghana.
Kaakyire Kwame Appiah in an interview with Dr Cann on Happy FM mentioned that he believes Nana Addo can do something for the country. He said that the previous government had eight year and over but waited till the last days before they started making developmental moves but it’s different with Nana Addo. He said that even if the current government has done nothing yet, it is certain they will do great things with time because they have already put measures in place to develop the country.
According to Kaakyire Appiah, Everyone has their hearts somewhere. Some people are contracted to compose songs and others compose the songs by themselves and get nothing. Others do it because their heart is with the party they belong to.
The veteran musician also revealed he has been a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for a long time and does not think about the benefits he will gain before doing anything for the party.
He added that he has been a member if the New Patriotic Party since 1992. He stated that was even once a polling agent at Darkuman Masalachi so he is a full member and enthusiast of the NPP and nothing has discouraged him from supporting them till date.
