Job Vacancy for Microfinance Credit Officer at a Rural Bank
A reputable rural bank in the Ashanti Region is looking for experienced and suitably qualified persons to be considered for the following vacant position: MICROFINANCE CREDIT OFFICER
Job Summary:
- Firstly, Conduct market survey and facilitate entry to potential communities to promote microfinance development
- Secondly, Embark on proper group animation process to strengthen microfinance development
- Thirdly, Good group formation and management *Ensure proper loan appraisal, disbursement, monitoring and recovery
- Moreover, Conduct training needs assessment of clients and provide them with financial literacy training
- Finally, Submit periodic reports to management *Any other duties that may be assigned by management
Qualification, Skills and Experience
- At least HND in Marketing, Accounting or any related field.
- Must have knowledge in community dynamics and development customer oriented
- Good communication skills in the local language, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Must be willing to work in remote catchment areas of the bank.
- Possession of motorbike riding licence and riding skills preferred
- Must be a Computer Literate
- Honesty, high sense of integrity and riding skills preferred
