Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology is a commercial enterprise area inside the Sandvik group and a main global dealer of equipment and tools, providers and technical answers for the mining enterprise such as rock drilling, rock slicing, rock crushing, loading and hauling and substances dealing with.
The Toolroom Keeper could be accountable for maintaining situation, security and information inside the device room. Give out tools and materials to technicians and take records. Keep cordial working relationships with technicians and assist them in carrying out general mechanical obligations which includes renovation and restore of all Sandvik gadget and additives to the proper standards
Key obligations encompass:
- keep up to date records of all Workshop equipment and tools
- Issue and maintain facts of Workshop tools and consumables
- Take stock of workshop tools, device and consumables monthly
- Write up requisitions for equipment replacement and workshop consumables replenishment
- Get hold of workshop consumables and keep in distinctive storage areas
- Clean, paint and lubricate workshop equipment and system when required
- Request for external upkeep on tools when required
- Teach attachment trainees on tools selection
- Help in the maintenance of system when required
- Spray rebuilt additives
- Accountable for safe paintings surroundings by contributing to task protection analysis,
- Take part in continuous development tasks and projects
- Work towards reaching set workshop KPI’s
- Maintain housekeeping standards – 5S
- Adhere to all SMR policies and strategies, mainly SHEQ policies
- Satisfy SHEQ obligations as may be assigned
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
- recognized technical qualification or degree in mechanical or electric disciplines with 5 years industry related experience
- Familiar with names, uses, operation and upkeep of tools and equipment used in Workshops
- Experience on heavy obligation equipment.
- Know-how of drills and loaders and related additives is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of computer (MS phrase and Excel)
- Fluent in English language
- Fndamental knowledge and alertness of 5S.
