Job Description
- Provides administrative support for one or more departments.
- Typically supports multiple managers and/or staff.
- Researches and obtains information for reports and assignments.
- Executes special or continuous research and data analysis.
- Analyzes problems, determines approach, compiles and analyzes data, and prepares reports.
- May contact company personnel at all organizational levels to gather information and prepare reports.
- Coordinates departmental projects, follows up on pending details, coordinates team activities and ensures deadlines are met.
- May monitor department or project budget, keeping manager apprised of budgetary status.
- Schedules appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements and coordinates activities between departments and outside parties.
- Answers telephones, screens calls and forwards messages.
- Sorts and forwards mail as appropriate.
- Composes, prepares, edits and proofreads letters, reports and other correspondence.
- Typically uses software packages for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphics and desktop publishing applications.
- Operates general office equipment such as personal computer, scanner, copier, calculator, fax or other office machines.
- Completes expense reports for processing.
Education and Experience:
Typically requires a High School diploma or Equivalent and a minimum of 1+ years of directly related experience.
