POSITION: Office-Based Logistics Agent

Position Overview 

Reload Freight Global, Landstar is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, imaginative, and dedicated agent. Become a part of our team with a starting fixed-term contract, which has the possibility of evolving into a full-time role.

The chosen candidate will report to the Operations Manager and will be tasked with ensuring all loading operations, including load booking, are handled effectively.

Duties:

• Arrange the transport of products from suppliers to storage facilities or distribution hubs.
• Organize and arrange shipments to guarantee prompt delivery to clients.
• Keep an eye on inventory levels and oversee shipments with logistics software.
• Engage with carriers, suppliers, and clients to address problems and guarantee seamless operations.
• Enhance travel paths to reduce expenses while increasing effectiveness.
• Prepare shipping paperwork and verify adherence to regulatory standards.
• Assess the effectiveness of logistics partners and suppliers.
• Introduce enhancements to improve logistics procedures.
• Oversee customs clearance and import/export paperwork.
• Offer assistance for managing inventory and warehouse operations.

Required Skills or Experience

• Robust discipline and outstanding attention to detail.
• Capability to function autonomously and collaboratively within a group.
• Innovative problem-solving abilities and passion for the position.
• Must live within a practical commuting range from the office.
