Applications are now being accepted for internships with CSIS in the USA in 2023. Center for Strategic and International Studies is known as CSIS. It is an American–based think tank that studies international problems and creates workable solutions to the biggest problems the world faces.
The CSIS paid internship program accepts applications from both domestic and international candidates.
International undergraduate, graduate, and recent graduates are eligible to apply for the internship. The CSIS does not impose restrictions on applicants based on their nationality.

Eligibility requirements for CISI internship applications in 2023
Both U.S. citizens and foreign nationals from other countries are welcome to apply for the CISIS internship program.
- Be a recent graduate, graduate student, or undergraduate who has completed two years of study.
- CSIS does provide internships to non-citizens of the United States, however, they do not sponsor intern visas. It is the interns’ responsibility to obtain a J1 visa.
- The J-1 visa is the most popular type of visa for foreigners looking to intern in the US.
