You will be graded on how prepared you are to begin your training or studies, and the terminology used will have some of the hallmarks of academic language.

IELTS Basic

The IELTS General Training examination is obligatory for students who wish to pursue further education in English-speaking countries, whether it is a secondary school, an internship, or a training program. In addition to that, having it is essential for immigration purposes to the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.

The examination places a strong emphasis on basic capabilities that are necessary for surviving in large-scale social and professional situations. Both examinations cover identical material for the Speaking and Listening portions; however, the reading and writing sections cover different material depending on which exam you take.
