The Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana is looking for dynamic, well-organized, qualified result-oriented and Practicing Christians to fill the following positions: HR and Admin Officer.
HR and Admin Officer Purpose
- To support the day-to-day activities of our Human Resources department.
HR and Admin Officer Duties
- Developing Internal HR policy manual for consideration by management
- Creating and distributing guidelines and documents about Church Policies.
- Maintaining personnel records (physical and digital)
- Updating Internal databases with new employee information
- Update internal databases with new hire information
- Create and distribute guidelines and company policies to staff
- Drive internal communication.
- Gather basic payroll data like bank accounts and working days
- Publish and remove job ads
- Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed
- Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics like total number of hires by department
- Develop training and onboarding material
- Any other duties as my be assigned by the Director of Admin/HRM
Required Skills or Experience
- BSc. in Human Resources Management
- Three to five years practical experience in a similar role
- Knowledge, experience and relevant skills set
- Familiar with Human Resource functions
- Basic knowledge of labor legislations and best industry practices
- Be computer literate with good knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Well-organized with positive attitude
- Good verbal and written communication skills
