Main Purpose
The purpose of this role is to serve as the account manager for FreezeLink’s pharmaceutical customers and to lead a team of technicians to deliver engineering services (including installation, maintenance, and repairs) to those, and other, FreezeLink customers
The General Manager will be responsible for business development of the Cold Chain as a Service model in the pharmaceutical industry to enable industry players to deliver life-saving vaccines, and other pharmaceutical products, across Ghana.
The role is tasked to contribute to the growth of sales, develop and execute a customer strategy and customer business plan as well as ensure high customer satisfaction metrics.
Job Accountabilities/ Fundamentals
- Develop Account Plans based on the Business Units’s strategy
- Design and deploy Acquisition, Usage and Retention Strategies
- Recruit and Build Team of Refrigeration Technicians
- Outline Training Program and Skillset required to build your team
- Lead Team of Technicians to deploy Maintenance Services
- Design and implement performance management metrics for your team
- Help negotiate business terms with each customer to reach the most effective conditions for FreezeLink
- Manage the execution of activities with customers including trade shows, demonstrations, product launch events, etc.

Required Competencies
- 4+ years of previous experience in an Engineering Role preferably electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Working understanding of thermodynamics
- Ability to identify and grow talent within a team
- Strong business acumen
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build relationships
- Ability to design and implement strategy
- High proficiency in Excel
