A host of delegates and party faithfuls flooded the streets of Twedie, district capital of Atwima Kwanwoma in the Ashanti region, in the lead to the submission of nomination forms of Kofi Amankwa Manu. The said noble person is NPP Parliamentary aspirant in Atwima Kwanwoma constituency.
He comes into this contest for the third time with the incumbent Member of Parliament Dr. Kojo Appiah-Kubi.The all loud song by delegates sends a message across that it will be well this time.
According to the Delegates that mobbed Mr Amankwa Manu, KamNation is a ‘rescue mission’ agenda. KamNation is a truncation interestingly drawn from the full name of the aspirant.
“the unwavering support of majority of the total delegates in Atwima Kwanwoma constituency you are seeing here today for the candidature of Kofi Amankwa Manu sends positive signals…it is a rescue mission agenda…it is enough to subject this NPP-pro constituency in the hands of the fatigue. The under performance of the incumbent MP is a classical evidence that he is tired with his 12 years of do little”- delegates told NewsNowGh’s Ashanti regional correspondent.
Hon Emmanuel Adjei Darkwa, Constituency Chairman of Atwima Kwanwoma NPP, advised the members to run a clean campaign devoid of insults and personal attacks.
Considering the huge number of delegates that colored his entourage, the Constituency Chairman advised that they champion the good work of President Akuffo Addo just as they’ve believed in their aspirant with their high spirit.
