Job Duties

  • Collect, label, and organize rock, soil, and drill samples.
  • Prepare and transport exploration samples to accredited laboratories.
  • Assist geologists with drilling programs and field survey activities.
  • Record and maintain accurate field data using GPS devices and tablets.
  • Operate, inspect, and maintain field equipment.
  • Set up, maintain, and pack down remote field camps.
  • Drive four-wheel-drive vehicles safely in remote exploration areas.
  • Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
  • Assist with managing drilling supplies and field equipment inventory.
  • Support day-to-day exploration activities to ensure efficient field operations.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work in remote outdoor environments and support mineral exploration activities.
  • Experience with sample collection, field surveys, or drilling operations is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate GPS devices, tablets, and other field data collection equipment.
  • Experience operating and maintaining field equipment is beneficial.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to safely operate 4WD vehicles in remote locations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when recording field data.
  • Commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with geologists and exploration teams.
  • Willingness to travel and stay in remote field locations as required.
