For you to study there through Erasmus+, there must be an inter-institutional agreement between your home institution and the receiving institution.

The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education must be held by both institutions (if they are in Program countries). When institutions from Partner nations sign the inter-institutional agreements, they formally reaffirm their commitment to the Charter’s tenets.

Academic Recognition

Prior to the study abroad time:

A Learning Agreement for Studies must be signed by you, your sending and receiving higher education institutions in order to provide an effective and transparent planning process for the exchange abroad and to establish how successfully completed activities abroad will be recognized. This agreement outlines each party’s obligations and rights.
The Erasmus+ Student Charter will be sent to you, outlining your rights and responsibilities during your time studying abroad.

After the time spent studying abroad:

The receiving higher education school is required to submit you and your sending institution a transcript of documents attesting to the completion of the agreed-upon program and acknowledging the outcomes.

Without any further conditions, your higher education school must accept the credits (using ECTS credits or a comparable system) as negotiated in the Learning Agreement prior to the mobility and count them toward your degree.

Your mobility time must be noted in the Diploma Supplement if your higher education institution is located in a Programme nation.

Traineeships Abroad

For students or candidates enrolled in higher education in a Programme nation, Erasmus+ promotes traineeships (work placements, internships, etc.) abroad in a Programme or Partner nation.
