Electoral Commission’s COVID-19 measures towards 2020 voter registration exercise
Towards a safe and secure 2020 voter registration exercise the Electoral Commission has issued a release on measures to curb and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
FIND FULL MEASURES BELOW
1. FACE MASKS
It is compulsory to wear a face mask before you enter the registration centre
2. TEMPERATURE CHECKS
Your temperature will be checked before you enter the registration center.
3. HAND WASHING
You will be provided with water and liquid soap for hand washing before you join the queue
4. SOCIAL DISTANCING
You will be required to maintain a minimum distance of one meter whilst in the queue.
5. SCANNER WIPES
Scanners will be wiped with alcohol wipes before capturing finger prints
6. SANITIZE
You will be provided with hand sanitizer before you leave the Registration Centre.
NOTE: It is imperative to note that all EC officials will be in appropriate Personal Protective Equipments
