Depot Manager at ETG Inputs Ghana Limited

• Job title: Depot Manager
• Job type: Permanent Duty Station: Anywhere in Ghana
• This position reports to the Senior Executive – Sales & Marketing

Job Description:

This position manages all depot/branch-related activities to ensure smooth functioning of depot and achieve assigned sales targets.

1. Firstly, Managing daily branch operations
2. Secondly, Managing and achieving the sales budget in the designed area.
3. Thirdly, Ensuring proactive business development and increase in market shares.
4. Moreover, Ensuring that market information and current trends are communicated to management to make appropriate decisions.
5. Additionally, Ensuring strategic and timely product placement and availability in the depot.
6. Then, Preparing strategic inventory planning for the depot, with respect to product and quantity, to ensure we fulfill market demand.
7. Also, Timely submission of daily inventory/sales report, monthly report and others if applicable.
8. More so, Managing and improving key customer relationships and identifying new customer opportunities.
9. Furthermore, Implementing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
10. Thereafter, Managing daily banking of sales cash and petty cash reports.
11. Besides that, Weekly physical stock verification.
12. Most importantly, Ensuring the right inventory management practices are carried out
13. Afterwards, Ensuring to raise all necessary documents for each transaction, Le., DN, GRN, Invoice Etc
14. Last but not least, Ensuring maintenance of stationery levels and never running out of any document.
15. Finally, Developing and maintaining professional contacts with FBO and commercial farmers

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

• The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness, Warehousing Supply Chain and Logistics Management, and Business Administration.
• Any qualification in Sales, Marketing or any business-related field will be an added advantage.
• He/she should have good sales and presentation skills, strong communication skills, interpersonal relationship skills, customer relationship and management abilities.
• He/she should be knowledgeable in warehousing and inventory management.
• He/she should be knowledgeable in the Ghanaian agrochemical seed and fertilisers industry, and be capable of providing regular market data for management decision-making.
• The applicant should have the ability to work in a multicultural environment and must be computer literate.
• The applicant should have at least two years of experience in warehousing or depot management.

• Spirit of analysis, synthesis, organisation and autonomy.
• Master of IT tools, office, and internet packs.
