Dalarna University 2024-25 Scholarships: Study In Sweden

This scholarship for international master’s students is now accepting applications for the academic year 2024-2025 and will be awarded to the recipient(s) at the end of that year. Applicants who are selected to receive financial assistance will have anywhere from 10 to 50 percent of their total tuition costs covered by that assistance. The total sum of the scholarship is paid out to recipients in stages throughout the course of the duration of the program.

Please be aware that these partial scholarships are only accessible to students who are paying tuition fees. The cost of attending Dalarna University full-time for one semester (which is comparable to 30 credits) ranges from 43,500 to 70,000 Swedish Krona (SEK).

Qualifications Required to Apply:

Candidates must demonstrate that they meet all of the following requirements in order to be considered for the Dalarna University Scholarship:

• The ability to speak and write in English to a proficient level is required.
• Countries That May Apply: We welcome applicants from any and all countries throughout the world.
• You graduated from a university that is recognized both nationally and globally, earning a bachelor’s degree that is comparable to a bachelor’s degree awarded in Sweden.
• You are required to give evidence of your ability to communicate in English. This can often be done through an international test such as the TOEFL or the IELTS, with a minimum score requirement (90 on the Internet-Based Test for the TOEFL or 6.5 overall on the IELTS, with no sub-band score lower than 6.0).

Procedure for Making an Application

In order to submit a full application for the scholarship, please follow these steps:

• Please ensure that the scholarship application form is filled out in its entirety and that it is sent together with the necessary supporting materials. You will need to upload your curriculum vitae to your online account for university admissions.
• You are required to upload a recommendation letter to your university admissions account. This letter can come from either an employer or a teacher.
• Make a video with an explanation of your qualifications for a scholarship from Dalarna University that is no longer than one minute long. Put this film up on a hosting service or somewhere in the cloud, and then send the scholarship committee the link to it so they may watch it.
• It is not appropriate to submit the video to Dalarna University directly. Make sure that you have already turned in your application for admission to the school before moving on to the application for the scholarship.

Autumn applicants have until January 1, 2024, to submit their materials; applicants for the January/Spring intake have until September 1, 2023, to do so.

Your scholarship application will be reviewed by the Marketing and Communication Office in conjunction with the Programme Directors, and a decision will be made about whether or not you will be awarded a scholarship.

We prioritize academic performance, professional experience, and motivational statements in our selection process. Applicants who choose Dalarna University as their first choice on universityadmissions.se and are accepted in the first round will receive priority. You must complete at least 20 credits per semester in your accepted academic program to maintain your scholarship eligibility.

It is important to note that there is no upper age limit for candidates for our partial scholarships and that these grants are only available to students who are paying the full tuition.

In the typical course of events, we choose between three and six applicants to receive a partial tuition fee waiver for the spring semester, and we choose between forty and fifty applications to receive a similar relief for the fall semester.
