Canada Government Launch 2 New Immigration Programs without Job Offer | IRCC
Two new immigration schemes are being introduced by the Canadian government to address labor shortages and increase opportunities for qualified workers. Two new immigration categories have been established by the Canadian government as part of the Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot.
These streams are designed to boost Canadian economic growth and make it simpler for employers to find qualified workers. Newly Introduced Immigration Streams
The Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot has two immigration streams that are;
Job Offer Stream
Individuals who have received a work offer from a Canadian business and are displaced or are refugees are eligible for the job offer stream.
Eligibility Criteria
The employment offer must fulfill certain requirements to be qualified for this stream.
- First and foremost, it should be a full-time job or require at least 30 hours of work every week.
- Be non-seasonal and fall under one of the National Occupation Classification’s (NOC) categories 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5.
This stream intends to assist employers in finding qualified people for a variety of in-demand positions, such as;
- Nurse Aides
- Mechanical and Electrical engineers
- Long-term Care Aides
- Software Engineers
- Personal Support workers
- Web designers
- Tourism and Hospitality workers
- Truck and Delivery Service drivers
- Logistics and Warehouse workers
No Job Offer Stream
Candidates with highly sought-after skills who are likely to get employment in Canada are the focus of the no-job offer stream.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill specific requirements for work experience to be eligible for this stream.
- Most crucially, they must have worked a minimum of 1,560 hours for pay over the three years preceding the application date, which equates to at least one year of full-time employment.
- The National Occupational Classification (NOC) categories 0, 1, 2, or 3 should also apply to the job experience.
It’s vital to remember that experience gained through self-employment does not count toward the required amount of work experience.
The Canadian government has added a new open work permit for family and spousal class applicants in addition to current immigration streams.
