New Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program
On November 30, 1,052 invitations to claim provincial nominations were sent out under the New Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program Express Entry draw. After more than two months, the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw for applicants to the Express Entry program is released. It was completed on September 26, 2023.
Under the Human Capital Priorities Stream, Express Entry profiles with prior experience in any of 42 healthcare-related occupations are given consideration. Profiles having a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 44 and 430 in the most recent OINP draw will be invited—or have already been invited—to accept provincial nominations from Ontario.
Since October 26, there hasn’t been an IRCC Express Entry draw. Additionally, on October 26, there was a draw specifically targeted at the healthcare industry, inviting 3,600 candidates with a CRS score of 431 or above. Using that draw as a model, OINP invited individuals with a score below 430, as candidates above 430 may obtain direct invites from the IRCC.
At least OINP held a draw specifically for Express Entry profiles, even though the IRCC is still having trouble holding draws for the program.

In the general British Columbia PNP draw, 80 invitations were sent out, with 35 of those going to tech-related jobs under all British Columbia PNP skills immigration streams and Express Entry streams.
Except entry-level and semi-skilled streams, the cutoff score has increased by one point from the British Columbia PNP’s previous targeted round of invitations. Furthermore, 49 invitations have been sent to profiles that have worked as assistants or early childhood educators.
In addition, British Columbia launched a new category-based draw that only accepted 27 candidates with prior expertise in 25 different construction-related fields. 75 was the cutoff score. Additionally, 39 occupations related to healthcare and 29 profiles were the target of invitations.
Latest Quebec Arrima Draw – New Rounds of Invitations
On November 16, 2023, 1,210 invitations to apply for permanent residency under the standard skilled worker category were sent out in the most recent Quebec Arrima draw. On November 28, 2023, Francis, the minister of immigration and integration, released information about this Quebec Arrima. For these invitation rounds, valid profiles that were available in the Quebec Arrima Bank as of November 13, 2023, at 6:30 a.m. were taken into consideration.
The Arrima profiles with a score of 609 or higher on the Quebec score calculator and level seven oral competence in French were the ones targeted by this round of invitations. Additionally, profiles with a legitimate employment offer from outside the Metropolitan Community of Montreal were taken into consideration for these drawings.
Quebec has issued 17,221 Invitations to Apply (ITA) in the first 17 Arrima rounds of invitations this year.
Arrima System – Quebec
Quebec uses a free computerized platform called Arrima to handle applications for eligible workers. It functions in a manner akin to the Federal Express Entry Program. However, the scoring structure used in Quebec differs slightly from the Express Entry structure.
Those who meet the requirements can construct their Arrima profile in order to be eligible for future drawings of the Regular Skilled Worker Program (QSWP or RSWP). Check your eligibility with the official Quebec Arrima evaluation tool. After you’ve completed building it, your online profile in the Arrima bank or pool is only good for a year.
Upon receiving an invitation in a draw, candidates are required to turn in the supporting documentation for the data they put in their Arrima profile. A certificate de selection is then presented. Then, candidates can apply for permanent residence with Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) using this CSQ.
Canada Permanent Residency
Through one of the numerous economic immigration options offered by the nation, foreign nationals can immigrate to Canada and get permanent status. When applying online for permanent residency via the Express Entry system, immigrants can do so if they fulfill the requirements of one of three federal immigration programs:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canada Experience Class Program (CEC)
Provincial Nominee Programs
For skilled workers, provincial immigration programs (PNPs) provide a path to economic immigration. Following that, candidate profiles are compared to one another using a point-based methodology known as the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). The top-ranked applicants will be invited to apply to become permanent residents.
Recipients have 90 days to pay processing costs and expedite the submission of a complete application through a network of provincial nominee programs (PNP). When they possess the particular talents needed by regional economies, nearly all of Canada’s 10 provinces and three territories are also able to recommend skilled worker candidates for entry to Canada.
After being nominated by a province or territory, qualified individuals can proceed to apply to the federal immigration authorities for permanent residence in Canada. Through the International Mobility Program (IMP) and the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP), Canadian firms are also able to recruit and hire foreign nationals.
Under typical processing conditions, the TFWP’s Global Talent Stream (GTS) can result in the issuance of Canadian work permits and the processing of visa applications in less than two weeks.
