In appreciation of academic success, Maynooth University is awarding Teaching Masters Scholarships in the amount of €2,000 to students in all fields.
When you apply to your desired postgraduate program, you must also submit an application for these scholarships.
All applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.1 honors.
Eligibility Requirements
- Both EU and non-EU applicants are welcome.
- Ph.D. and Master’s program graduates and current students are not eligible to apply.
- Instead, prospective students who are interested in research programs should submit an application for the John and Pat Hume Doctoral Research Grants from Maynooth University.

Our Taught Master’s Programs are created to develop and hone our students’ postgraduate knowledge and abilities in a particular academic area. ACADEMIC AWARD
Applicants who are habitual residents of Ireland, registered with their higher education institution’s access office, and who meet the eligibility requirements will get a second scholarship worth €2,000.

- For a fee of €50, candidates can use the online PAC application system to apply to up to three taught or one research programs at Maynooth University.
- Any of our Ph.D., Research and Taught Masters, Postgraduate Diplomas, or Certificate programs may be chosen as the program of study. The charge is made outright to PAC.
- Please check the B before submitting an application through PAC so you are aware of the course you are applying for and the deadline.
Applications must be submitted online through the Postgraduate Applications Centre (PAC) at www.pac.ie/maynoothuniversity for all postgraduate programs at the university.
