AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana) Limited is currently on a journey to redevelop the Obuasi Gold Mine into a modern, efficient and long-term profitable operation. The underground mining operation will be fully mechanized, designed to produce up to an average maximum of 5,000 t/day of ore mined.
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated person to join our dedicated team in the following positions:
1. Condition Monitoring Technician – S/F Infrastructure & STP
ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT
The Condition Monitoring Technician – S/F Infrastructure & STP is responsible for performing all condition Monitoring functions of all Surface Infrastructure and STP equipment which includes checking vibrations, temperatures, pressures, oil levels and flows and reporting. The role holder also assists reliability engineer in developing, implementing and reviewing equipment maintenance strategies, reliability centred maintenance (RCM) tactics, and defect elimination projects in order to improve equipment reliability and asset integrity of the mine plant and equipment to world-class standards.

2. Maintenance Planner – Shutdowns
ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT
The Maintenance Planner – Shutdowns is accountable for the development and implementation of maintenance planning using the SAP modules designated through the application of operational engineering policies, standards, systems and procedures to maximise plant availability in a sustainable cost-effective manner and minimize operational risks in order to meet the business’ strategic objective.

3. Maintenance Planning Superintendent
ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT
The Maintenance Planning Superintendent is accountable for the implementation of the work management element of the AGA Asset Management Framework, ensuring that all maintenance works including shutdowns are properly planned, scheduled and coordinated for execution on Surface and Underground Fixed Plant Infrastructure, including the Surface Processing Plant, Surface Mine Infrastructure, and Surface Support Infrastructure, Hoists and Shaft Infrastructure and Heavy Mobile Equipment to maximise plant availability in a sustainable cost-effective manner and minimize operational risks in order to meet the business’ strategic objective.
