Berock Construction Ltd is seeking an organized and proactive Logistics Officer to join our operations team in Accra. This role is central to ensuring the efficient planning, coordination, and movement of all materials, equipment, and resources essential for our construction and project activities.

Purpose of the Role

You will guarantee that logistics operations support our project timelines effectively, maintaining a seamless flow of resources to various construction sites while prioritizing cost efficiency and safety compliance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of logistical coordination and management.

Coordinate and schedule the timely delivery of construction materials and equipment to all active project sites.
Manage the company fleet, including vehicles and heavy equipment, optimizing schedules and usage.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all tools, supplies, and materials.
Track fuel consumption equipment usage and coordinate routine maintenance and repairs.
Serve as the primary liaison between suppliers, site managers, and transportation providers.
Develop and implement cost-effective logistics strategies to minimize expenses and avoid project delays.
Prepare regular logistics performance and operational reports for management review.
Enforce strict adherence to all transport regulations and site safety protocols.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess an HND or a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.
Prior experience in construction logistics or a similar industry is a strong preference.
Demonstrate strong planning, organizational, and multitasking coordination skills.
Possess working knowledge of inventory management and transport tracking systems.
Exhibit the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight, demanding deadlines.

Location: This position is based in Accra.
