VACANCY: CHIEF CLINICAL PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above position in the Ministry of Health, Department of Health Service Management, tenable at various facilities
- VACANCY NO: 33 of 2022
- SALARY: DI (P950,004.00-P186,926,00 per annum)
BENEFITS:
- Optional contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays 50s, Employee pays)
- A contract of 34-36 months with gratuity of 30% payable at the end of contract.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master of Arts/Science in Clinical Psychology
- A minimum of two (2) years as Principal Psychotherapist or eight year’s work experience in relevant work
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To coordinate and evaluate effectiveness of Physiotherapist service and delivery

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Firstly, Interprets physiotherapy policies and procedures to stakeholders.
- Secondly, Provides advisory services on physiotherapy expertise to stakeholders.
- Thirdly, Monitors physiotherapy Clinical Audits
- Moreover, Monitors compliance to the set physiotherapy standards by service provides in various health facilities
- Furthermore, Coordinates out-reach services.
- Then, Monitors and evaluates the implementation of physiotherapy policies and procedures.
- Also, Coordinates the development of the department’s budget estimates
- Afterwards, Train in management and leadership
- Finally, Updates junior colleagues about the latest development within physiotherapy through literature review
