VACANCY: PRINCIPAL PHYSIOTHERAPIST II
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above position in the Ministry of Health, Department of Health Service Management, tenable at various facilities
- VACANCY NO: 32 of 2022
- SALARY: 01 (P6,340.00-1291,640.00 per annum)
BENEFITS:
- Optional contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays 50s, Employee pays)
- A contract of 34-36 months with gratuity of 30% payable at the end of contract.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of Bachelor of Science Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy
- At least two (2) year’s work experience as Senior Physiotherapist or eight ( year’s work experience in a relevant field.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Physiotherapy service delivery in health facilities.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Firstly, Interprets physiotherapy policies and procedures to stakeholders
- Secondly, Provides advisory services on physiotherapy expertise to stakeholders.
- Thirdly, Monitors physiotherapy Clinical Audits
- Moreover, Coordinates the development of physiotherapy educational material.
- Additionally, Coordinates out-reach services,
- Then, Manages and monitors physiotherapy
- Also, Conduct research on evidence based practices for rehabilitation protocol
- Furthermore, Coordinates the development of the department’s budget estimates.
- More so, Coordinates the procurement of physiotherapy equipment.
- Afterwards, Trains in Management and leadership
- Finally, Coordinates and conducts in-service training.
