Branch Operations Officer Job at a Rural Bank

A reputable rural bank in the Ashanti Region is looking for experienced and suitably qualified persons to be considered for the following vacant position: BRANCH OPERATIONS OFFICER

Job Summary:

  • Firstly, Supervise and coordinate the operational activities of the Branch.
  • Secondly, Assist the Branch Manager in preparation of Returns, Treasury and Cash accounts of the Branch
  • Thirdly, Function as a signatory and Authorizer of the Branch accounts and transactions
  • Afterwards, Ensuring the reconciliation of the books of the Branch, including interagency accounts
  • Finally, Ensure the proper daily calling-over of all transactions of the Branch

Qualification Required & Experience

  • A minimum of HND in Banking & Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience in branch operations and customer service.
  • Must be knowledgeable in T24 core banking application.
  • Must possess a good command of the
  • English language; spoken and written. “Good knowledge of Ms Word, MS Excel.
