Institute of Teacher Education and Development (INTED) is inviting applications due July 31, 2022 for the recruitment of five (5) roles as described in the solitication below: Administrative and Procurement Officer

Founded in Ghana in 2011, INTED is a non-profit organised response to support quality education delivery in the pre-tertiary education sector. On a mission to build and support local capacity to provide accessible, high-quality professional development that addresses leadership, instructional, and student performance gaps, INTED supported more than 3,500 teachers and heads of over 100 schools in Ghana during the first decade of work. As INTED embarks upon its second decade with the purpose to build a more vibrant, inclusive, impactful, and sustainable organisation, it seeks to onboard passionate competent individuals who will advance the mission to improve educational outcomes in West Africa. Position Title/Type: Administrative and Procurement Officer/Term-Renewable, Full-Time Role

Summary Purpose:

To support the transformation into a sustainable and well administered member-centered organization and attainment of procurement and documentation goals

Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Firstly, Provide the highest standards of procurement services and advice to the team, in accordance with the strictest of internal, national, or funder procurement policy and regulations;
  • Secondly, Implement proper annual and quarterly procurement planning in coordination with relevant teams in order to ensure best, transparent value for money solicitation of goods and services;
  • Moreover, Prepare evaluation matrix of offers/bids to determine which vendor can deliver at the best terms/lowest costs with due consideration to cost, quality, delivery time, payment terms, etc.;
  • More so, Offer refresher training, clarifications, and advice on procurement procedures and practices; respond timely to queries about the status of delivery, payment and other matters raised;
  • Furthermore, Perform a wide range of office support, for events and workshops as well as others contributing to the efficient and effective management of the administrative and procurement functions;
  • Last but not least, Assist team with all professional administrative procedures including processing requests for travel, processing of expense claims, honoraria, stipends, imprest, supplies, etc.; and
  • Finally, Manage filing and archiving system of administrative/technical documents, contractual agreements, purchase orders, registers, etc. regularly.

Minimum Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Firstly, Three years’ experience with one year in procurement, administration, and/or grants management focused on ensuring compliance with established rules and regulations;
  • Then, Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or equivalent;
  • Also, Ability to work with modern database management and online collaboration software;
  • Lastly, Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

Office Location for All Roles: Accra, Ghana
