POSITION: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
This role focuses on consumer and market research (observational studies, focus groups, surveys) by working on industry forecasts, SWOT analysis, and consumer interviews.
Your goal is to spot new opportunities (market segments, product categories, revenue streams) for the company to work on. The business development manager usually drives the commercialization of new opportunities for projects.
Responsibilities
- Identify, scope, prioritize and target potential opportunities.
- Develop pitch and roadmap to win new customers and discharge strategic targets.
- Build wide and effective networks of contacts within relevant market sectors
- Work collaboratively with colleagues; sharing knowledge to ensure a smooth-running operation,
- Attend relevant industry exhibitions and networking events
- Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth.
- Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives.
- Researching prospective accounts in target markets.
- Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle.
