About the Role

As an Intune MDM and SCCM Engineer, you will manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Endpoint Management systems. Your primary focus will be on configuring, supporting, and maintaining these modern device management platforms. You will work closely with various business units to implement secure and compliant solutions.

This contractor role reports to the Principal SCCM Engineer and requires in-office attendance at least two days per week.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will have several key responsibilities:

Provide expert support for MDM and mobile application management (MAM) issues.
Configure and maintain MDM environments, including governance of Apple Business Manager (ABM).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for business requirements and migration management.
Analyze and migrate AirWatch configurations to Intune effectively.
Configure Intune policies, compliance settings, and profiles.
Offer Level 1 and Level 2 support for devices, including iOS and Android.
Lead strategies for application patching and update deployments, including Windows 11 upgrades.
Monitor and optimize mobile device management systems proactively.
Document migration processes, technical specifications, and procedures.
Train end-users and develop relevant training materials for MDM policies and technologies.

Job Requirements

To excel in this position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

Strong knowledge of MDM processes, including enrollment, configuration, and management.
Hands-on experience with Level 1 and Level 2 support and troubleshooting.
Expertise with Apple Business Manager and Microsoft Intune.
Proven ability to implement compliance and configuration profiles using Intune.
Comprehensive understanding of Windows Update for Business and patch management.
Excellent problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex issues.
Strong customer service and communication skills, catering to both technical and non-technical users.
Familiarity with network security and mobile device best practices.
Experience in SCCM to Intune migration, including hybrid co-management.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. While relevant certifications are preferred, they are not mandatory. U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, and H-1B applicants in exceptional cases will be considered.
